A 660 MW thermal power plant required complete ventilation overhaul for boiler house, turbine hall, and auxiliary areas. Existing fans were undersized for expanded load and operating at poor efficiency.
Installed Aerotech ID fans and FD fans with VFD control for boiler draft systems, along with axial flow fans for turbine hall and auxiliary building ventilation. All units designed for continuous high-temperature operation.
Boiler efficiency improved by 4.2%. Auxiliary power consumption reduced by 18%. All ventilation zones now meet OSHA thermal comfort standards. Zero unplanned fan-related shutdowns in 12 months post-installation.
