Non-seal and mechanical seal coolant pumps. Single-stage and multistage direct driven types for CNC machines and industrial machining.
A coolant pump (also called a machine tool pump or cutting fluid pump) is a submerged centrifugal pump designed to deliver cutting fluid (coolant) at controlled flow rate and pressure to the cutting zone of CNC machine tools. Coolant serves multiple critical functions: removing heat from the tool-workpiece interface (preventing thermal distortion and tool wear), flushing chips away from the cutting zone (preventing re-cutting), lubricating the cut to improve surface finish, and extending tool life by 200–500%. Coolant pumps are classified as single-stage (low pressure, high flow for flood cooling) or multistage (high pressure up to 100 bar for through-spindle and through-tool delivery in deep-hole drilling and high-speed machining).
Aerotech supplies a comprehensive range of industrial coolant pumps for machine tool applications. Our lineup includes non-seal single-stage pumps (VKP, LFE, LFO, SKM), non-seal multistage high-pressure pumps (LHW, LBM, LBK, LPWE, LPW, LKW, VKB, LVS, LVSS), and mechanical seal stainless steel pumps (VKD) for corrosive coolant environments. All pumps are direct driven for zero-maintenance seal-free operation, delivering reliable coolant flow for CNC machining centres, grinding machines, deep-hole drilling, through-spindle cooling, and centralized coolant circulation systems. Stainless steel wetted parts available for water-soluble coolants and chemically aggressive fluids.
